IP Masterclass workshops provide startups support from IP professionals, hands-on experience working on key aspects of IP strategy, and an exclusive access to a suite of custom-built IP tools. This education series was created by In House IP and Athena Legal for AccelerateIP.
The interactive workshops are advanced: you must have a basic working knowledge of IP. It’s recommended you have completed one of the following courses, or an equivalent:

The IP Strategy workshop will be offered on multiple dates. If you attend an IP Strategy workshop, you do not need to attend another instance.

Dr. Houston Brown is a registered patent agent (CA and US), a patented inventor, and a published researcher. He’s won numerous intellectual property awards and is an active contributor to the profession through his work with Canada’s College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents. Dr. Erika J. Murray is a commercial technology and intellectual property lawyer with a PhD in engineering. She has practiced at top-ranked international IP firms and, for the past five years, has served as fractional in-house counsel, providing strategic commercial contracting and IP legal advice to early-stage startups, VC-backed high-growth companies, and multinationals.
