STREAM 1
IP Education and Awareness: Gain foundational IP training.
STREAM 2-1 and STREAM 2-2
IP Strategy: Apply for 1:1 mentorship and/or up to $25,000 towards select legal costs for IP strategy development.

IP Implementation: Apply for up to $60,000 towards select legal costs for IP implementation.
The Impact of IP
From 2017 to 2019, only one-fifth of businesses in Canada reported that they owned at least one type of IP.
38.7% of companies that owned IP said that it brought increased value to their business, such as competitive advantages, reputation and goodwill.
31% of businesses that reported owning IP said it led to increased revenues.
Nearly 30% of businesses that reported owning IP said it led to strengthened long-term business prospects.
